Happy Sunday! It's been raining all day and I feel like want to stay in bed all day with warm milk and a good book~ with assignments and whatnot, keep on dreaming! T___T
Anyway, today it's going to be a quick post as I still have some final touch to do for my presentation tomorrow so I guess I'm going to review my first sheet mask from TheFaceShop which is Real Nature Rice Mask Sheet.
A brightening and complexion improving mask sheet containing rice extract to smooth and brighten dull and rough skin.
How to Use:
Apply the mask sheet onto a cleansed face and leave on for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Remove mask and massage remaining solution into skin using your fingers.
To maximise result, use the mask every 2 to 3 days.
Use immediately after opening.
When I first browse the internet to see this product reviews from other beauty blogger, I noticed that that the ones that I have are in new packaging. I confirmed this when I hauled like 20 mask sheets from the same line last month and the freebies are in those old packaging. Compared to the old one, I guess I like the new one better. The old ones are like Nature Republic's mask sheets, where they used real rice as illustration which I like, but the new one has the same illustration but with a frame of brown colour. To me it's better to isolate the label from the illustration so it's easier to read the label (I can read Hangul by the way).
So far, I have tried like 4 or 5 mask sheets from this line but I have to admit that this one is my absolute favourite. It has a really nice scent like my TFS Rice Water Bright cleansing line and after using this mask, it leaves my skin smooth, soft and hydrated without any sticky feeling after removing the mask. Compared to Etude House sheet masks, I find the essence in this mask takes less time to be fully absorbed into my skin.
Most people love to put mask sheets in their fridges, you know, to get a cool sensation while using it but not for me. Usually before using any mask, I will prep my skin by using my The Body Shop Deep Cleansing Mask Enhancer, where I will warmed up my skin using this steamed cloth and place it on my facial area for about 5 minutes to open up my pores so the product will be absorbed better. Then I will put on the mask sheet.
As for the size of the mask, well I have to admit that the sheet is slightly bigger than my facial area, it even cover my neck! But as for the opening for the eyes, nose and mouth, they fit perfectly.
Final verdict: 5/5. Will I be purchasing this in the future? Definitely!
Okay, that's all for today. Let me know if you've tried any mask sheet from TheFaceShop or any Rice mask.
Until next post, annyeong~
