whoa~ look at those fresh green colour!

Here's an interesting article that I found from the internet!

Skin Care Benefits

Green tea extract is associated with several skin benefits. Green tea extract is derived from leaves of Camellia sinensis. Green tea extract is naturally rich in antioxidants, which has a cell-protecting function as well. It’s a strong antioxidant effect that protects the skin from the damaging effect of free radicals. Green tea extract also contains the Methylxanthines that stimulates skin microcirculation and therefore positively influence the tone and health of the skin.

Green tea extract can actually decrease wrinkles and also makes you look younger. It is useful to incorporate green tea extract into your skin care product to possibly slow down skin aging.

Green tea extract is a good anti-inflammatory agent thereby reducing inflammation in the skin, and most importantly having an inhibitory action on collagenase (a collagen-reducing enzyme that breaks down collagen). Since green tea extract helps to inhibit collagenase, the topical use of green tea helps to promote the health and quantity of collagen, thereby maintaining a firm and elastic skin. In one clinical study is was shown that the skin had measurably more elastic tissue content after continuous application of a product containing green tea extract.

Green tea extract appears to exert a sun protective effect by quenching free radicals and reducing inflammation. Therefore, it could apply a green tea formula under the sunscreen. It is best to combine green tea extract with zinc oxide-based sunscreens because zinc oxide is chemically inert and should not react with green tea extract.

Verdict:

Looking at all the masks from the same line, they all have the same essence colour, right?

But one thing that differs this one from other masks is how I love the scent! It's so fresh and really just give me the relaxation especially after those days I spent without enough sleep!

Based on the ingredient list, I can see that compared to other masks from the same I Need You! line, this one has the most leaves extract in it. With lavender, and other leaves extracts, I guess that's why the scent is so nice!

To be honest, I put to this mask right after I'm done with my final presentation, and as I was so tired, I showered, used my toner, and put this on my face and though I planned to just nap for a little bit.... I woke up the next morning! LOL but then I realized that my rough skin (due to lack of sleep!) has become softer (or is it because of 10 hours of sleep??) but yeah, I guess this mask did help a bit. hehe

But overall, I do love this mask and as for final verdict: 5/5. Totally love this one! So yes, I'm going to repurchase it if it's still available but again, as we all know, this I Need You line mask sheets has been replaced with the Alphabets Mask Sheets. :) so let's get the new ones instead! :D

This mask sheet is retailed at RM6.90 but I got this during the Etude House Buy 1 Free 1 Merdeka Sale from 30th August to 1st of September so I got this as a freebie with the purchase of Royal Jelly one. :)

So I guess that's all! :D So far, 5 out of 6 challenges completed but unfortunately right now I don't have the Aloe variant (there are 7 mask sheet variants in this I Need You! line) so if I could get it then I'm going to review it or... there's gonna be a surprise! :D

Anyway, I'd like to welcome my new GFC, Google+ and Bloglovin' followers! There are a lot of you so I already lost track due to my recent busy schedule, so if you haven't commented and introduce yourself as new follower, please do so as I'd love to interact with my followers so much!

Do share your experience if you guys ever tried this mask sheet and give recommendations if you guys have an alternative brand that has similar active ingredient. Would love to try that out! :D

Have a great week ahead! See you guys next post!  Au revoir!
